Registration is required for all attendees and speakers of State of Black Health. Please select the appropriate registration option from this page.
The Center for Black Health & Equity aims to offer an inclusive and community-driven attendee experience. If anyone would like to attend The 2025 State of Black Health National Conference and needs assistance with registration fees, please reach out to [email protected] for scholarship consideration.
We also offer community organization and student registration rates. Purchasers of these rates must verify status. Limited volunteer opportunities will open in April.

- Access to all main conference plenary events, breakout sessions, activation events, and exhibitor spaces.
- Access to evening opening reception at The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture on Monday, September 15, 2025.
- Access to conference mobile app and all electronic conference materials and activities.
- Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at opening reception, refreshments for plenary sessions, and plated or buffet lunch offerings on main conference days.
- Complimentary basic wireless internet access for all Marriott Bonvoy members.
Pre-conference add-on sessions are available for an additional fee.
- A refund of the registration fee minus processing fees can be issued for all registrations cancellations made before May 30, 2025.
- A refund of 50% of the registration fee will be issued for all registration cancellations made between May 30 – July 18, 2025.
- No refunds will be issued for registration cancellations made after July 18, 2025.
State of Black Health Work-Exchange Program: After review of conference needs, we will no longer offer a work exchange option for attendees at #SBH 2025. Scholarship options are still available. Please contact [email protected] for information.
Registration Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email at the address you provide with your registration information during purchase. Registration and conference management is being done through the State of Black Health Event platform on the Whova app. If you already have a Whova account, to avoid duplicate accounts, use your current Whova account email. Please ensure that your email address is correct when registering. Once tickets are purchased, you can access your registration account in the Whova app.
